Immediate Dentures:
Usually the time period of 1-2 months is given as a gap between extraction and making of complete dentures so that complete healing of bones and gums. But for esthetic concern immediate dentures are made so that you are not without teeth even for a single day. These immediate dentures are given to you after 1 hr of extraction of teeth and refitted after 2 months when complete healing has occurred.

When is the time to get the dentures refitted or remade?
- Broken Dentures.
- Very old Dentures.
- Stained/ discolored teeth of Dentures.
- The jaw bones and gum shrink or recede.
In that situation the denture gets loose. So that’s the time to get it remade/ refitted. |
