FIVE MOST COMMON DENTAL PROBLEMS AND THEIR CORRECT TREATMENT

July 10, 2019
  1. BLEEDING GUMS

So yeah, My mom complained about bleeding this morning while brushing. The most common dental problems happen at a dentist’s home too. Bleeding gums is the first sign of a dental issue. Its nothing major but it's something no one should avoid. Bleeding from gums is an indication of inflammation in the gums. This happens WITH INCREASED PLAQUE AND DEPOSITS AROUND THE TOOTH. This problem is the most common amongst our patients. A lot of us ignore it thinking its nothing as it is usually not accompanied by pain.

But the problem this preliminary has an easy remedy. Use of mouth rinses before you go to bed reduces down the germs. Brushing in the morning and night keeps most of the deposits away. However, bleeding from gums indicates a long standing inflammation. This can settle down by getting a thorough round of cleaning and polishing at our dental clinic in Gurgaon & South Delhi.

  1. BAD BREATH

Are you embarrassed about it? A lot of people feel about having bad breath and they brush more to prevent that. But the problem still persists. Persistent bad breath needs to be diagnosed properly by our dentist in south Delhi. Bad breath can occur because of a wide range of dental problems ranging from a bad cavity to ill-fitting dentures. Improper oral hygiene is the most common cause.
Bad breath also acts as an indication of any other systemic dysfunctions.

  1. SENSITIVITY

Thank god the winters are coming… The ice cream and cold water were anyway a pain in the mouth. So yes, jokes apart, if you are not able to enjoy your favorite ice cream with all your heart or if you avoid going for dessert at a wedding, you need to see a dentist. A normal healthy never feels sensitive. The cause for sensitivity can vary from a minor cavity to a gum recession condition. A filling can be done if there is a particular area or tooth which is sensitive.

  1. CROWDING OR GAPS IN TEETH

Malaligned teeth can really puncture your confidence. A pleasing smile but a bad set of teeth can make brushing well also a challenge. Perfectly aligned teeth can be achieved by getting orthodontic treatment done. As a common myth prevails, getting your teeth aligned is no more just a teenage tooth. Adult orthodontic treatment is at a roar to achieve straight teeth any age. You can inquire about invisible braces too at our centres in Delhi and Gurgaon if you are conscious about wearing conventional braces.

  1. DEEP CAVITIES

The bitter truth about most of us when it comes to dental health is that we keep postponing it. A cavity once started keeps eating away and demineralize the enamel and dentin. A deep cavity is spotted when the sensitivity goes bad and continuous toothache sets in. These cavities often require root canal treatment to relieve the pain.
